1Any currency
Each invoice, estimate, payment and expense has its own currency. Bill a German client in EUR and a US client in USD from the same account. Available on all plans.
2Exchange rates
When an invoice is saved, Invollc stores its value in USD and in EUR using the European Central Bank reference rate of the invoice's issue date (from the public Frankfurter service). Payments and Form 5472 owner transactions get the rate of their own date. Historical rates never change afterwards, so last year's figures stay the same. On an invoice you can refresh the rate to use today's instead.
The rate and the converted total appear in the invoice CSV export, so your accountant sees how every figure was converted.
3Totals in one currency
The dashboard adds up revenue and outstanding amounts across currencies using those stored conversions, so you see one number for the LLC.
Invollc does not calculate realised or unrealised exchange gains and losses. If you need them for your books, your accountant can work them out from the export.
