1Dashboard
The dashboard shows, for the period you pick: revenue collected, amount outstanding, overdue invoices, a revenue trend chart, recent payments and invoices to follow up. You can set a monthly revenue goal and track it. All amounts are converted to one currency as explained in currencies.
Each client page shows total invoiced, total paid and the client's invoices and payments. The Form 5472 page gives the yearly summary of reportable transactions.
2From a total to its transactions
Every figure is built from invoices and payments you can open. An invoice lists the payments recorded on it, where each came from (Mercury, Stripe, manual) and a timeline of every change. The Payments page lists each payment with its invoice.
3CSV exports
Available on all plans, from the list pages. Each export follows the filters you have set.
| Export | Columns |
|---|---|
| Invoices | Number, status, client, client country, issue date, due date, currency, subtotal, tax, discount, total, paid, balance, USD rate, total in USD, paid date |
| Payments | Date, client, invoice, method, amount, currency, amount in USD, matched, reference, notes |
| Expenses | Date, type, description, vendor, category, amount, currency, tax amount, payment method, notes |
Invoice and estimate PDFs can be downloaded one by one at any time.
4Import from another tool
In Settings → Import, download the CSV template, fill it in (one row per invoice line) and upload it. Invollc creates the clients, the invoices with their lines and, if you fill in a payment date, the payment too. Invoice numbers that already exist are skipped, so you can upload the same file twice safely.
