Import charges from an existing Stripe account

1When to use it

Use this if your LLC already takes payments with Stripe through its own checkout, payment links or another app, and you want those payments next to your invoices. If you want clients to pay Invollc invoices by card, use card payments instead; those are recorded automatically and don't need this import.

2Connect

1. In the Stripe dashboard, go to Developers → API keys → Create restricted key.
2. Give it one permission: Charges: Read. Leave everything else at None.
3. In Invollc, go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe import, paste the key (it starts with rk_) and connect.

The key cannot create charges, refunds or payouts. Invollc stores it encrypted.

3What gets imported

Successful charges from the last 90 days at first, then new ones every 30 minutes. The amount is what was captured minus anything refunded. Failed and unpaid charges are skipped. Each charge is stored once by its Stripe id and then goes through matching.
